Hello, everyone! Just wanted to let you know that several support/advocacy groups in Texas are starting to merge into one: FAST of Texas. FAST is an acronym for "Food Allergy Support Team," and it was born out of a large group of FA families in the DFW area. The Austin Food Allergy Parents' Support Group is now part of the FAST umbrella. FAST of Texas does not seek to reinvent the wheel, replace PA.com, FAAN or any of the other wonderful groups out there. We just think it makes sense for each state to lobby for consistency in that state with regard to legislation, schools, 504s, etc. And, of course, we all know that there is strength in numbers. The website is www.fastoftexas.org. Stay safe, everyone!
