My three year old son is allergic to both egg and peanut. Over the years i have collected a few really great eggless recipes. I know how difficult it is to come up with something that all your guests will like at a birthday party. I have a recipe for a chocolate cake that my non-allergic family members and friends always request. I have tried many of the food allergy network recipes , but they are for the milk allergic. http://WWW.cookierecipe.com has many eggless cookie recipes. I also have a chocolate sugar cookie recipe that is great. If you call hershy's they will send you a recipes. They have several really good eggless recipes I have tried the fudge pudding cake, a quick chocolate cupcake, frosting and pudding.
The recipe is as follows:
3 cups of all purpose flour
2 cups of sugar
1/2 cup of hershey's cocoa
2 teaspoons of baking soda
1 teaspoon of salt
2/3 cup of vegetable oil (i use canola oil)
2 teaspoons of white vinegar
2 cups of cold water
homemade buttercream chocolate frosting
Heat oven to 350, grease and flour 2- 9 inch round pans. Mix flour, sugar. cocoa, baking soda and salt in large bowl. Mix oil vinegar and vanilla . stir oil mixture into flour mixture very quickly. pour into pans. bake for 35 minutes.

Don't forget to check with the manufacturer's etc. about their ingredients. Chocolate and even cocoa can be an ingredient to suspect may contain peanut. Also check that the manufacturer is knowledgeable and concerned about possible cross contamination etc.
Everyone: Always check the lists of boards to see where you think your post should go. We want your post to help as many people as possible, so putting it where they are looking for it first helps. Many people are new to the web and computers so the easier we can make it for them the better. You do not have to put it on the "Main" board to have it noticed. It doesn't matter which board you post to because everyone can see there is a new post. This is one of the reasons we set up the boards the way we did.
Hi Patti,
Could you repost this on the "Recipes, Snacks Etc." board so others can find it easily? We receive a lot of questions about things that are already on the boards and it helps to keep things organized as much as possible. Let me know when you post it to the other board so we can remove the thread from this board.
