My kids have been referred to Dr Stone at Chirldren's Hospital in DC. I called in early August, and the next available appointments were late November.
Has anyone been to him or heard of him?
My daughter started with Dr. Stone when he was a Fellow at Children's Hospital Boston. My husband and I loved him so much that we thought (still thinking about it)about flying her down to DC to see him twice a year. He is so good with the children and also very good at communicating with the parents. You are lucky he is so close to you and you'll find he is worth the wait.
We originally saw Dr. Stone when my son was referred to Boston Children's Allergy and Immunology Dept. as a baby for recurrent infections. My son is 6 1/2 and has no food allergies; he has some environmental allergies.

Thank you for that excellent endorsement! He must be a great doctor to consider flying down from Boston for him. (BTW, Jet Blue has non stop service from Washington Dulles to Boston, if you decide to do that.)
I will let you know how our apptmts go.

re-raising to see if anybody has current info on this doc?
Thx, Eliz

Sorry, I do not have any info on Dr. Stone. My daughter sees Dr. Howard Pung at Georgetown. We like him very much. He's very good about answering questions, sending reports to her pediatrician and ENT, and in filling out the forms for school.
