Domino\'s

Hi all,

Have also posted this on Restaurants and Peanut Free businesses in response to threads about Domino's/Pizza restaurants:

This may be irrelevant to US readers as I live in Ireland, however thought I should post after reading posts about Domino's Pizza. My boyfiend enquired about nuts/peanuts when ordering Domino's in around September 2001 and was told 'no nuts' by the manager. (I must add I had eaten there many times before that but that was before I learned how serious PA is and that I should be more careful).

Anyway, had no problems with their food. Then, with the introduction of the Euro (January 2002 for all you non-euroites) Domino's hiked up their prices and reprinted their menus etc. and lo and behold, there appeared a warning (in tiny letters at the very bottom of the menu) 'All our products may contain nut derivatives'. This despite the fact that a few months before I had been assured there were 'no nuts'. Needless to say, I have not eaten there since.

I hope this post does not cause any undue alarm - for all I know the situation could be completely different in the States. Also, I don't know why I didn't post sooner - but it's only just occurred to me. But I just thought I would bring it to yur attention.

Take care

Michelle
