Positive Skin Test, Normal Blood Results
After an allergic reaction to a peanut flavored snack, my 1 1/2 year old son had a positive skin test but his peanut component blood test returned normal results. Our doctor noted how "weird" this situation is and advised to continue refraining from peanuts until a follow up test in a year. Is there anyone else that has experienced a similar situation? Any advise would be greatly appreciated! G-d bless all those who suffer from life threatening food allergies!!
