Has anyone who has visited Disney World and stayed in one of the Disney Resorts ever used the kid's club at a resort? As I understand it, they're basically a supervised program with fun activities, Disney movies and dinner/snacks that operate from 4:30-ish to late at night for parents who want to have some fun at Disney without the kids.
I have two kids, 4 and nearly 7. The almost 7 year old is PA, but not (so far, at least, knock wood!) airborne or contact sensitive and although we always carry epipens, he's never had an anaphylactic reaction. He's mature for his age, but none-the-less, we would rely on the adults in charge to help him choose safe foods and to use the epipen, contact us, etc., if he ever did have a serious reaction.
Has anyone out there used these kids' clubs for their PA child? How did it work out? We're only just thinking about a trip to Disney, and I'm wondering if these clubs are even an option for us.
Thanks,
Debbie

I have not done the kid's clubs at the resorts - just on the Disney cruise.
The snacks were all planned in advance so I could see what all the kids would be served and I picked her up to take her to meals myself. We had no problems.
But I agree about calling ahead - they are very aware and should give you good info.

Hopefully, someone on this board will have firsthand info for you. I would also suggest you call Disney directly and ask about the clubs. When we were at the parks, there they were EXTREMELY allergy aware...I would not be surprised if they were able to accomodate you with regards to PA. Good luck!
