Now that I'm hooked on Sunbutter - I've been looking around for similar products. At Safeway, I found "Country Fresh Sunflower Butter" made by Country Fresh Enterprises Inc. in Richmond B.C.
I've searched the internet but can't come up with a website for them. I've written a letter to them regarding whether the product is peanut-free/if the processing plant is nut-free, etc.
Just wondering if anyone has heard of them or tried the product?
Curiosity got the better of me - I did buy a jar to try( for myself - my son liked the smell of Sunbutter, but not the taste, so we're back to cream cheese and jam sandwiches).
It seems much oilier than Sunbutter, and not quite as smooth. I liked the flavour of Sunbutter more. This new jar is up very high in a cupboard now until I hear from them.
Thanks for any input.

What kind of cream cheese do you use? We've been avoiding philly cream cheese since we found out that it's made on the same lines as nut products (my dd is tna also).

Gale - For quite awhile I've been using Safeway's Lucerne Cream Cheese. I have bought Philly before - and I didn't know about the shared lines - thanks for the tip.

Horizon Organic Cream Cheese is also peanut and tree nut-free.
