PA & TNA ds has been wanting chocolate chip cookies. He loves chocolate and then all the brightly colored packages get his attention also. But all the ones I check have peanut flour as an ingredient.

Does anyone know of a safe chocolate chip cookie that does not have eggs either?

Allergymom,
I do not usually trust storebought cookies, I try to find the time to make my own. I used to use the refridgerator cookie dough, but now I don't feel safe with that.
Let me know if you find any safe ones, I think I saw a thread in the introductions section about nut free cookies.

EnjoyLife products makes a safe chocolate chip cookie. Available at Whole Foods or do a store search on their website. They have a "health food" taste, but are not bad . . . we like the double chocolate chip the best.

We have also used the Pepperidge Farms Nantucket chocolate chunk cookies. I called Pepperidge Farms and they told me that although they do make many cookies with nuts, that the varieties without nuts are made in a separate facility, so if there's no warning near the ingredients section of the package, they should be safe. We've never had any trouble with them.

We also buy Pepperidge Farms Mint Milano cookies and their bread.

My son believes he did have a reaction to Nabisco's plain Chips Ahoy! cookies, so we don't buy them, although some other people here have had no trouble with them.
