Children\'s Story on Peanut Allergies
I have written a children's story on peanut allergies for my son to take to preschool. It is called "Allie the Allergic Elephant".
The book is geared toward preschool age through first grade. It explains why an allergic child will say "no thank you" to foods offered, what an allergic reaction looks like (hives, coughing, swelled lips) and which foods "hide" peanuts.
I have received rave reviews of the book and the illustrations. Imagine an elephant with hives!
If you're interested in purchasing this book, my husband and I have self published it under our business: Jungle Communications, Inc. The price is $15 plus shipping. You can contact us at (719) 633-2913 or write us at 2500 N. Circle Drive, Suite 300, Colorado Springs, CO 80909.
