Has anyone been successful in getting a definitive answer from Chevy's restaurants regarding peanut risk -- specifically type of oils used for frying & prep? We had been originally told by 1 Chevy's (in Raleigh, NC) that they used no peanut oil. Yesterday the Chevy's in Reno, NV told us combo oil including peanut. Not sure if the Reno restaurant was just scared & didn't want us to eat there -- we got conflicting answers from their staff last night & the final answer of "yes, includes peanut". Would appreciate reading of others' experiences with this restaurant chain. I've not had a chance to contact Chevy's corporate offices & don't have any response from them. And I know that if these are franchised, each restaurant can do things differently.
