Celebrities with food allergies? Potential spokespersons?

Gosh, there was a thread on this several months back. Bobby Kennedy Jr.'s son Colin has PA. It is my understanding that they are doing a little to promote it, although I think Bobby Jr. still spends the bulk of his time on environmental issues. Also one of the twins that are tennis stars is PA...I think it's Sabrina...or maybe Venus, I can't remember which girl it is. Those are the only people I know of. I wish the Kennedy's would do more for the allergy.

I've often wonder about this myself and have considered that one reason pa-celebraties do not promote this issue is because it could make them a very easy target for the "crazies-out-there." Someone could really harm them without the need for a gun.

Maybe we find a celebrity via Katie Couric who, as I learned this morning on Today's peanut-allergy segement, has a nephew who is highly sensitive to peanuts.

Even though Katie is herself occupied with advocating for colon cancer research she might put us on the right track to finding someone.

I do know some celebrities who do have food allergies, but none with peanut allergies in the group I know. I am trying to see if I can find some celebrities with a PA. If anyone has some ideas be glad to share them with me, please.

I think I might be on to something, but we shall see. I will post other celebrities and their food allergies later if anyone is interested, let me know.
