"Caring for your child with severe food allergies" by Lisa Cipriano Collins
$ 10.95 usd and 17.50 cad.

What I liked most about the book is that she talks about the emotions that we go through and her husband added a small section from his prospective that was enlightening to me. He talks about how he is a pilot and that in an emergency that you need to remain calm and go through your emergency procedures. My husband and I are skydivers and that is something you practice over and over so that in the event of an emergency you "peel, punch and pull" and save your life. This will be different in that it is our dear son's life. I hope that I can remain calm if the situation occurs.
She also offers practical advice on how to handle everyday situations. I also feel that it will be very valuable in providing family members and caretakers with information so that they "get it". That will be worth the cost of the book right there.
Stay safe. Julie
