My baby just turned 1 yesterday *sniff*, and he's having a joint party w/his brother at the end of the month. I'm ordering a bakery cake for everyone except Cody, and was wondering if any of you know of any cake mixes that are safe, or if you could tell me of any really good recipes for cake, any flavor, he's not picky...lol TIA!

They have quite a few cake mixes including yellow, white, carrot and gingerbread. I only buy MissRoben brand though since they can guarantee nut free.

Well, our recipe is eggless, but I find it to be a delicious, dense, but not too heavy or rich, chocolate cake(or cupcake) recipe. It is good with or without frosting, but I love it with a good buttercream icing. Daddy and daughter will be making me one for my birthday on Tuesday!
I raised it under snacks and recipes. I make it in 2 round layers, but I noticed it sayd 13x9 inch pan. It comes out fine either way. I flour the cake pans. Cpcakes are nice if the kids are happy with that, then you can freeze the rest of them and use as needed when they have other parties or such. becca
