Do you mean a book for you or a book for your child - or both? I like Allie The Allergic Elephant for such a young child and The Peanut Allergy Answer Book by Michael Young for the adults.

Don't forget one of our favorites: "No Nuts For Me"
Web address linked to was no longer used by that company and linked to an unrelated industry

Two good books for parents are "The Parent's Guide to Food Allergies" by Marianne Barber and "Caring for Your Child With Severe Food Allergies" by Lisa Cipriano Collins. the Collins book really helped me deal with my emotions regarding my son's PA diagnosis.

A friend recommended the Collins book to me for the same reason you liked it, that it helped her deal with her emotions. I have to say, though, it completely panicked me when I was already frightened out of my mind. I strongly preferred the Barber book for that reason, although both books are very informative.

For what it's worth,
Debbie
