Dear Registrant,

Everyday, thousands of children with severe allergies attend school safely.
Yours can, too.

As your child heads back to school, ensure that everyone is well prepared.

Inform the school about your childs allergies, updating the school of any
changes (e.g. diagnosis of an additional allergy, outgrowing an allergy), and
provide the school with a spare epinephrine auto-injector.

Complete the Anaphylaxis Emergency Plan which provides the school with key
information. To download the form, go to:

Make sure you and your child know how to use an epinephrine auto-injector and
can teach others as well. To learn more, go to:

Remind your child to follow key safety rules:
- Always carry his/her epinephrine auto-injector when age-appropriate (check
expiry date).
- No epinephrine - no food...it's not worth taking the risk
- Eat 'approved' foods from home if food allergic
- Wear MedicAlert identification
