From Anaphylaxis Canada:-

Dear Registrant,

As your children head back to school, make sure that everyone is well prepared.

Submit complete school medical records in time and provide the school with a
spare epinephrine auto-injector if requested.

Encourage your child to carry his/her epinephrine auto-injector, when
age-appropriate. Make sure that it is still in-date (that it has not expired).

If your school does not have an information form, download our Anaphylaxis
Alert.

Make sure you know how to use an epinephrine auto-injector and can teach others
as well:

Download Trainer Instructions for Use.

Practice.....practice.....practice......with the Trainer device, until you are
comfortable.

Remind children to follow key safety rules:
- No epinephrine - no food...it's not worth taking a risk.
- Eat 'approved' foods from home if food allergic (even in so-called nut-free
schools)
- Wear MedicAlert identification.

Expect the best as we start a new school year.

Every day, thousands of children with severe allergies attend school safely.
Yours can, too.
