Back from disney (jetblue)

Well,we are back from disney and all went well! When we checked in at the airport on jet blue, I went and wiped down the seat and then went to talk to the flight attendants.(who were not so nice)Guess what jet blue just started serving only a week ago. Almonds... Well I thought I was going to puke. Even though my DD is not nut allergic, as far as we know. I did not want to find out in an airplane. all went fine!
On the way home(a nice lady went and wiped the seat without me asking) I got on and the plane was almost empty. I went ot talk with the flight attendant (Scott) who could not have been any nicer, guess what he is peanut and tree nut allergic!! [img]http://uumor.pair.com/nutalle2/peanutallergy/smile.gif[/img] I was so happy,(we laughed about being happy that someone was allergic) he was
so nice to my DD she made him a picture. He serves the Almond which would scare me, but he said he has been dealing with it his entire life and has learned to deal with it.
I do not know if he wears gloves or what, but he was such a positive person.(I really needed that!!)Disney Was great the chef at crystal palace walked me around and told me what she could eat. At MGM one of the hot dog hamburger places, we spoke with the manager(he had a book with all info)
all and all it was great!

when did you fly jet blue, and from what city to Orlando? we are flying them in June from Boston with our TNA/PA son and are freaked by your report!
We spoke to Jet Blue prior to booking out flights back in March and were ensured that the snacks were peanut and nut free. I called them after reading this post and got conflicting reports. I was instructed by the rep to email through the web site and will await the response. Keep you posted.

Thanks for the update. I'm headed to Disney next week with DD and DH. I'm glad to hear that Disney handles the food issues so well. Unfortunately, we're not flying JetBlue. Maybe next time. Thanks again.
