my 2 year old dd (dairy, peanut allergic) is constipated and i want to give her gerber prune/apple stage 2 baby food to help out. anyone have any dairy or nut problems with gerber? i called the company and they said no nuts in the facility at all and that the product is dairy-free. just double-checking with all of you. thanks

My ds is allergic to dairy and we haven't had a problem. There are a few jars that have milk...I think it's one of the organic ones with green beans. Just make sure you read the labels, which I'm sure you do!

My son was sensetive to dairy, but not severely allergic. However, he tolerated all the Gerber single foods just fine. I stuck to single foods, and vegetable combos once we had tried all the individual veggies in it. Never did any of the cereal mixed or yougurt=y mixed styles. Watch out for those with the dairy allergy.

Ds had the prunes daily for about 6 months. Very effective. Watch out! becca
