Hi,
I may need to fly from Sydney to New Zealand later this year - I'm in Ireland but I might go to Sydney and then to NZ from there.
Anyone know what airlines are good for us PA folks - do Virgin Blue fly from Sydney to Auckland? Are there any others?
Thanks,
Michelle

Qantas will serve nuts on any flight after very early ones (and even then anyone who orders a drink from the bar will automatically get pn). http://www.qantas.com.au
I think I've read here than Air New Zealand are pn free. http://www.airnewzealand.co.nz/
Virgin Blue fly to wellington and Christchurch (which, in our opinion, are both nicer than auckland). VB serve pn but pax have to buy them (they aren't free like on QF) http://www.virginblue.com.au
...and there's also Freedom air (discount airline owned by air NZ, I think) http://www.freedomair.co.nz
For fare comparisons try http://www.webjet.com.au Webjet show trips on other airlines like Aerolinas Argentinas and Emirates, but they are less frequent and on big aircraft going to or coming from other countries.
Check with airlines (the websites above have Contact us e-mail addresses) about the pn.
Good luck and have a great time here & in NZ
