I am thinking of candy for an Easter egg hunt. I know that Spangler has safe lollipops and we order from nothinnutty., notnutz and the peanut/nut free chocolate stores but what about regular hard candy. Anyone found any safe ones?
I too am skittish about hard candy in kids. My dd has had the Dum-dum lolly pops many times without incident, though these would be hard to put in eggs. We usually do stickers in our egg hunt. That seems to be a big hit. You could also do some temporary tatoos. Or look at some of the cheap trinket type toys from Oriental Trader.

I am a bit freakish about hard candies. Even at 5, I worry about choking. Dd had a skittle slip down her throat one day, and they are small!
But anyway, my point is I di not use any, but I think that I have seen people post about Jolly Rancher products. We let dd have lifesavers.
There are so many candies that do come in small sizes for eggs now. If you trust Hershey, Rolos are good, skittles has little Easter size packs. Nerds. Just some other iseas, but not sure about milk allergens in these. becca
