Does anyone have a recipe for a pumpkin pie that is milk, peanut and wheat free. I have a pie shell. And I think the pumpkin mix is ok, but I don't know how to substitue the consensed milk usually part of the recipe.

Anyone know what kind of a pie shell you are supposed to use? I eat pumpkin pie so rarely, that I don`t remember. The two in the store that she was able to have were shortbread and graham cracker. We are making the pie this morning, but I am not sure which one to use.

Just had to say the pumpkin pie came out great. We did the second recipe, the one from the egg free, milk free, wheat free cookbook, which worked out well for us since dd is allergic to milk and eggs also. The pie definitely tasted like a regular pumpkin pie, didn`t taste like anything was missing at all! And the imitation "whipped cream" was very acceptable. It didn`t taste exactly like whipped cream, but it did taste a lot like cool whip. The lemon juice really helps mask the tofu taste (I really don`t like tofu), but the topping was definitely something that tasted decent. Thanks for the recipes! They were VERY easy too!
