Are 'airborn' reactions common among people with PA? I have read several posts mentioning kissing someone after eating peanuts or reactions on planes. My daughter has not had a reaction like that so far (& I ate a Reeses PB cup when I was at the store today. I sttod in the parking lot, shoved it down my throat & threw the wrappings into the garbage so their would be no evidence when I got home;-)
So, do I assume she is ok until I see otherwise? Or take precautions?

Sometimes I just want to say "blah blah blah blah blah."
Our allergist suggested that neither my hubby or I or any family members eat pn/tn anymore, at all, period. He said anytime you have a reaction (big or little) to pn/tn it is just too risky to eat the item around the individual. He said if we did eat something with nuts that he would suggest brushing our teeth 2 times, rinsing really well and washing face and hands.
My DD of 3 1/2 yo has PA and other allergies
a list a mile long.
My oldest DD came home from school and had eaten a pb&j at lunch aprox. time was at 11:30 -12:05.
I picked her up at 2:00 oldested DD kissed
youngest DD on cheek and with in 2-3 minutes
pa dd had swollen up on the cheeck and the eye were she was kissed beet red on that side
of the face.Pa dd cried and was fussy and itched in that eye.
Needless to say she is ok.
I would be very careful.
We have a routine ,if oldeset dd eats pb away
from the house.1-She will tell me she has eaten it.2-She changes her clothes. 3-she washes her hands and face. 4- She brushes her
teeth.
Will stil keep a close eye on little V.

Many of our children have experienced airborne reactions. There are a bunch of threads in progress.
Go to search and type in Airborne Reactions for all open forums and you will get about seven threads already pretty large.
Good luck
