Air France experience

Our 11 y/o daughter will be flying Air France to Italy for a soccer tournament next week. I called them and they said that they usually don't serve peanuts or nuts. Usually???? I would have expected a 'yes we do' or 'no we don't'. I asked her again, and she said that she can't promise that another passanger hasn't brought peanuts with them. She basically sounded like a broken recording and I'm still not clear on their policy regarding serving peanuts.
Can someone shed some light on this for me?
