Allergies and Pregnancy
I'm 27 and have severe allergies to peanuts, tree nuts, and stining insects. My nut allergy was adult onset and happened when I was 15. I have had 3 traumatic instances with food allergies in my life and it makes me very scared to ever have children. Part of me doesn't want to even risk having a baby because of either having an anaphylactic reaction during pregnancy or possibly passing on my health issues to my children.
Have any of y'all had the same sort of fears but continued to have children anyways?
Is it still possible to have a healthy pregnancy if you do have an allergic reaction somehow??
And does anyone know any statistics on whether or not your allergies will be passed on to your kids?
