Hello and Welcome to the PeanutAllergy.Com General Discussion Board.
If there is something that you would like to bring to the attention of everyone please post it here! If there is another board that is for that same topic please post it there also and make reference to it. We have received many thanks from people who were helped by the first PeanutAllergy.Com bulletin board (see archives board) We went with these boards because they offer the features that many suggested.
These boards help a lot of people. Please post and reply often as the information on these boards is beneficial to all of us.
Thank You,
Stay Safe,

Thank-you, Chris. I think it's really important for people to be reminded or even just know about this. As for me, well, you know I post every bit of information I get re PA here (and probably more )
Best wishes!

Please try to do a search before posting a new topic on the main discussion board. It would be nice to try and keep topics together when possible. Example: questions about schools would be better placed and might get more responses if posted under the SCHOOL topic.

Sue, excellent point! I have OCD when it comes to this board (seriously) and I find it extremely frustrating when I find the Main Discussion part of the board clogged up with things that I think should be somewhere else, i.e., under their appropriate headings such as Schools as you mentioned.
When especially evil-minded about it, or distressed about it, I feel like coming up with a completely new UserName and going in and using the orange arrow smilie and simply directing the thread to the proper category.
However, I also recognize that a lot of people, new to the board, can't figure out where to post and it takes some time for people to figure out how to navigate around.
I know, for me, I post a lot of stuff under Living with PA and yet it's the more under-rated of the two (Main Discussion and Living with PA) as far as attention getting.
But I feel the topics I'm posting about are things that are generally about Living with PA.
I think you've raised an excellent point. I know another member also goes completely batty when Main Discussion gets clogged, so I'm not the only one.
Thanks for raising this excellent point. Hopefully it will help some people figure out how to navigate the board (and have fun while doing so).
Best wishes!

Hi Cindy,
I have thought of the Orange Arrow also - hmmm ---
I do understand that some topics could fit just about anywhere, but things about media, school, links, snacks, books etc do have a fairly clear location on the board.
I try not get frustrated, but at times I need to locate something I have seen on the peanutallergy board and almost always have to do my search from the main board because so much stuff is scattered around.
Stay Safe and keep sharing the good info!

raising
All of the raising has really confused this board if you ask me. Some people who do not post any longer may have started these threads initially and a good discussion is impossible if they are not involved.
I use the active thread part of the board to stay in touch with people I know are going to respond.
I do not write in a vaccum. I like dialog.
