So I know this might not sound like a big deal, but to me, and more so to my 2 1/2 year twins, it's huge. Finally I took them to a public playground. I have been so afraid of the "invisible peanut residue" that I have entertained them in other ways. Last week though we drove by a playground and the girls said "oooh park slide!". So maybe not such a huge step, I made them wear their gloves, it was 45 degrees out, and that made me feel safer. Then of course hand washing afterwards. I am just happy to see the HUGE smiles again!
Thanks for letting me share.

Yeah for you and your girls!!!!!

Every time that you do something like that, it will build your confidence that you all really will be ok.

Go again before it gets too frigid:-)

I'm just curious, if you'll forgive me for being nosy, to know if both of your twins are allergic to peanuts/the same allergens? I have one month old identical twin girls and I'm looking for a glimps...

My oldest, by a few seconds, is allergic to peanut and egg. Her sister scored a .9 on rast so we are unsure and she has never been given peanuts. So far she does not have other allergies that we know of. My oldest though, had very bad eczema where my youngest is very very mild.
I cross my fingers that things will stay the same or get better!
