Peanut-Free/Nut-Free Directory
Our directory is intended as a resource for people with peanut and nut allergies. It contains foods, helpful products, and much more.
I must admit, this is my first time blogging. I always thought of my allergy as some sort of weakness I had that was just meant to be dealt with. With some inspiration from Recipe Paiges, and a lot of confidence from my loved ones, I decided to create this blog as a way to help families that have peanut allergies live a little easier! I know how difficult it is to travel, go to baseball games, or even eat at a simple restaurant. If you or a loved one has a peanut allergy, you know how difficult it is to be alert no matter where you go. As I got older, I actually ran into more situations where I needed hospitalization, which then sparked my interest to cook on my own. Although Chinese restaurants, bakeries, and many other places may be scary to someone with a peanut allergy, you can still enjoy these foods! How you ask? Well, I plan to post my personal recipes for recreating some of these favorites, except minus a few ingredients...PEANUTS! Everything featured on this website will be peanut, tree nut, sesame, and may contain free. Mothers, rest assured you will have some safe options for your kids, and kids, you'll be able to eat some foods that may have been off limits in the past. I hope everyone enjoys, and please feel free to leave your thoughts and advice as well!
Sincerely,
Samantha B
