Old Bay Shrimp Salad

Summer is the time of year when families and friends bring their meals outdoors for some picnicking fun in the sun!  For those with food allergies, picnics can be hard to navigate because most items are placed in serving bowls without their original ingredients listed.  If you have a food allergy, it is a good idea to stay away from anything creamy when eating at an event, because of the potential allergens hidden in the sauces.  A surefire way to make sure that you can eat your favorites without worrying about the ingredients is by preparing them yourself.  One of my favorites is this Old Bay Shrimp Salad, and yes, it tastes as fresh as it looks!
Ingredients:
1 Lb. of Shrimp, pre-cooked and deveined
1/3 Cup Mayonnaise
2 Celery Stalks, roughly chopped
Old Bay Seasoning to taste
Sandwhich bread of your choice
Lemon juice for garnish
First, take pre-cooked shrimp and defrost in cold water for five minutes.  Once defrosted, cut each shrimp in half, pat dry, and place into a large mixing bowl.  Add mayo and chopped celery to shrimp and mix together.  Continue to mix while adding Old Bay seasoning, pausing to taste.  Once seasoned to your preference, place in fridge for one hour, mixing halfway through.  Serve on sandwich bread, and enjoy!
